This factory mainly produces caprolactam using the toluene method. As a result, the wastewater from this process was difficult to treat because it contained a very high concentration of COD and ammonia nitrogen. In 2006, the aeration system of this factory was reformed using BioDopp technology and Engelbart hoses. Following this upgrade, the quality of the effluent was significantly improved, and the 3000 m3/day was treated, with a 50% in operating costs.
